Uncut GEMS • It’s time to let your accessories do the talking. Throughout the SS26 shows, designers completed their looks with scene-stealing jewellery. From XXL floral and star-shaped earrings at Chanel to carcanet-style necklaces at Saint Laurent, the case has been made for bold and brilliant adornments this season.

The LONG and SHORT of it • Bermuda shorts are fast becoming summer’s cult buy, courtesy of Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten and Loewe. Whether denim, embellished or classically tailored, they’re the cooler alternative to trousers in the sun, and still appropriate for most offices. The key to nailing the trend is to keep the look relaxed. Try choosing flat shoes (sandals, ballerinas or loafers) and contrasting the shorts with cropped or oversized proportions on top.
